This is Champ, a large-sized 9 month old yellow lab/shep cross. Champ is full of energy and loves to play, he is quite the athlete and can easily jump our exercise yard fence, so he will need a high fence or an invisible fence. Champ would probably make an awesome agility dog or working dog if trained properly. Champ came to us from a homeless couple who couldn't care for him any longer. He can be a bit skittish around strangers and is protective of his owner. Laura, our trainer is working with him and also teaching him to walk on a leash. Champ does not do well with other dogs or cats and probably too strong and big to go into a home with small children.
